The augmented reality mobile game has launched in the US, Australia, New Zealand and - reportedly - parts of Europe.
Excitement around the game is reaching fever pitch as it continues to occupy smartphones across the planet.

An enterprising developer has built a free Chrome extension that you can add to your browser to block all mention of small collectible beasties.
It was inspired by the Trump Filter which promised the same kind of online exclusion for the mop-haired presidential candidate.

Running on a smartphone, GO has been billed as a virtual treasure hunt using the Pokémon franchise.
Players can scan their surroundings while out and about and if they’re lucky, a wild Pokémon might pop up on their screen for them to grab.
They can then throw a ‘Poke Ball’ at it in an attempt to capture the Pokémon and add it to their collection.
In time, it's expected they will be able to battle and trade their creatures. Sparking a whole new wave of conversations you probably won't want to be a part of.
